Organisms Over the years, I have worked with a variety of organisms. My first love were beetles, in particular scavenging beetles of the families Silphidae and Cholevidae. Since my student days, however, I have focused more on parasitic wasps and their bacterial symbionts, and land snails. Meanwhile, I have tried to keep a small flame burning for my childhood passion, birds. In the following pages, I provide brief advertisements for some my favourite kinds of animals.
